ABOUT THE BOOK

“What if we talked about and treated mental health the same as physical health?”

This graphic novel is part of the Different Kinds of Hurt: Isaac's Story campaign, developed by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. The Isaac’s Story campaign includes an animated film and this graphic novel for elementary and middle school-aged children, and shows how an honest conversation about “different kinds of hurting” between two classmates can have a life long effect.

The book is available in English in all three Montague Libraries and it Spanish at the Carnegie and Montague Center Libraries.
