Dan Conlan, from Warm Colors Apiary, will talk about:
- the importance of pollinators to the planet's health and
co-evolution with flowering plants, with honey bees as the focus
- what beekeepers do to manage bees, produce honey
- how everyone can help the pollinators
This program is part of the Libraries in the Woods Community Read – The Dirty Life: A Memoir of Farming, Food, and Love by Kristin Kimball. Copies of the book are available at all three Montague Libraries. The program is designed for children and caregivers while the book is geared toward adults.
