In March of 2022 Millers Falls residents Gretchen Wetherby and George Gajda drove down to Amicalola Springs, Georgia to start what would be a months-long trek north along the Appalachian Trail to Mount Katahdin in Maine. Join us for a presentation on their preparations for the trek, what their plans were and what they packed, the reality of the thru-hiking experience, and their reflections a year after starting.
