Local author Karen will be reading from a novel-in-progress whose title is also still in progress after the opening reception for Barry De Jasu's photographs..

On the evening of Wednesday July 19, Barry De Jasu and Karen Latuchie will be sharing the “stage” of the Montague Center Library.

5:00-6:00 p.m. The opening reception for the installation of Barry’s photographs.

6:00 I’ll be reading from a novel in-progress, after which there will be time for a Q & A should the need arise.

Come for the pictures, stay for the words. We hope you’ll join us!

Karen Latuchie is the author of the novel, The Honey Wall, published in 2004, and her short stories and non-fiction have appeared in The Paris Review, Southwest Review, Other Voices, The Common, and other journals and small press anthologies. She’s the recipient of a New York State Foundation for the Arts Fellowship, and residency fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, Blue Mountain Center, and Jentel. She and her husband, Barry De Jasu—whose photographs will be showing at the library starting July 17—moved to the Valley from New York City in 2004, and have been living in Montague Center since 2011. Karen will be reading from a novel-in-progress whose title is also still in progress.
