Library Director Linda Hickman manages the library staff and three libraries. She enjoys selecting and ordering the adult books, DVDS, and audio books and is always looking for suggestions. She has worked for the MPL for 23 years. She was the Children’s Librarian for 17 years before becoming the Library Director. She never thought she would be an e-book reader, but finds reading on her iPad incredibly convenient. She is bouncing back and forth between the Susan Mallery series Fools Gold and Happily Inc. Her current title is Not Quite Over You. Romance is not her usual genre, but right now she is finding happy stories in pleasant settings very relaxing. These series remind her of Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series and its spin-offs which she also enjoyed.
