Millers Falls Branch Library Closure

The Millers Falls Branch Library will be closed for renovation starting Thursday, 9/26

The Millers Falls Branch Library will be closed for renovation starting Thursday, 9/26. We anticipate re-opening the week of 10/21 or 10/28, but do not yet have a firm date. Library materials, programs, and services, and access to the food pantry will be suspended for the duration of the closure.

Want to know what's going on? The interior of the library is going to be painted, the flooring will be replaced, and the layout is going to be flipped in order to create more space for public programs and for enjoying library materials within the branch. Over the next few months, we'll also install a new circulation desk and new, moblile media shelving.

Please note that library materials, programs, and services, and access to the food pantry will be suspended for the duration of the closure. The branch book drop will still be available for patrons returning materials and will be emptied periodically.

The hours and services of the Carnegie Library and the Montague Center Branch Library will not be impacted. Those seeking food resources can visit the Franklin Area Survival Center food pantry, which operates from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
